Ludwig wants to help you "stars in bars" celebrate the Red, White, & Blue with the American-made Spirit of '76 shell pack. This kit gleans inspiration from a popular patriotic kit from the 1970s. Only instead of a wrapped finish, today's Spirit of '76 sports a lustrous banded Metallic Sparkle Lacquer finish for enhanced beauty, depth, and longevity. Underneath, you'll find the same 3-ply maple/poplar/shell recipe that has made Ludwig kits of this era such shelf-stable collectibles. The Fab-sized Ludwig Spirit of '76 whispers and shouts with old-school authority. Each Legacy Maple shell sports an internal layer of poplar to balance the maple's natural projection and weight, along with solid 1/4" maple re-rings to supply the right touch of dryness and strength. Blue/Olive badges and Ludwig Classic lugs complete the picture.
