Matt Greiner Clinic Monday October 7th

DBDC and Studio 518 are excited to announce that Matt Greiner is coming to Daytona Beach for a Clinic and Masterclass on October 7th and 8th. 
 
As a highly influential drummer with over twenty years of touring experience, Matt is a founding member of August Burns Red and recently released his 10th studio album. He is also a brand ambassador for Zildjian, DW, Vic Firth, Evans, Ultimate Ears, and Anetik.
With over 2,100 shows under his belt across six continents and more than 40 countries, Matt brings invaluable insights into performing at the highest level.
On top of being a global phenom, Matt is a full time father, husband and farmer… Yep! When Greiner’s not tearing it up on the kit, he’s in the sun tearing up the fields for the next harvest. Maintaining an excellent work/life balance is something we can all use guidance on. It seems Greiner has cracked the code and he’s willing to let us in.
 
 
This unique two-day event welcomes participants of all skill levels and interests. The "Drum Clinic" will take place on Monday, October 7th, featuring effective double bass exercises, blast beat development, and drum set performances. The clinic will be held at the Daytona Beach Drum Center, and tickets are $20 each. (Space is limited to 50 attendees.)
 
The "MasterClass" is a personalized group lesson scheduled for Tuesday, October 8th. This class will explore drum set ergonomics, efficient practice techniques for busy schedules, and tips for writing catchy drum parts while simplifying complex rhythms. During this session, Matt will work closely with each student, ensuring you leave feeling inspired and ready to elevate your drumming skills. All skill levels are encouraged, don't be thrown off by the word "Masterclass."

The Masterclass will take place at Studio 518, with tickets priced at $100 each.

A drum head? Your favorite ABR record? A disposable camera? Matt is a personable guy and wants to meet every one of you. He's literally flying here to talk drums and to go surfing. Although we have to be respectful of his time, Matt is willing to sign and hang after the clinic.
